From the Delta Stewardship Council:
At the request of the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, the Delta Science Program is facilitating an independent scientific peer review of new lines of evidence for effects on fish from the long-term operations of the Central Valley Project and State Water Project, and the resulting impacts on their populations.
Interested parties are invited to submit no more than two pages of input relevant to the charge questions by October 16, 2026, via email to reviewadvice@deltacouncil.ca.
Input deemed relevant by the Delta lead scientist will be provided to the independent panel of experts as supplemental review material and posted on the peer review’s web page. It may also inform the panel’s final report, expected in December 2026, at the panel’s discretion.
