Fifteen years after the California Legislature passed the Delta Reform Act to strengthen governance for the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, the three dedicated Delta state agencies are reflecting on the progress made and the work remaining to protect water supply reliability, ecosystem health, and the Delta as an evolving place.
The Delta Stewardship Council, Delta Protection Commission, and Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Conservancy are proud to announce the co-release of 15 Years of Progress: Rising to the Challenge of the Delta Reform Act.
The report captures key accomplishments and efforts to advance the Legislature’s vision for a more resilient Delta. Achievements span the adoption of the first-ever Delta Plan, investment of millions of dollars in science and ecosystem restoration, designation of California’s first National Heritage Area, and much more.
