NOTICE OF INITIATION: Revised PFOA, PFOS, & PFHxS Notification and/or Response Levels and New Notification and Response Levels for PFHxA

The State Water Board’s Division of Drinking Water (Division) has initiated the process for developing revised notification levels and/or response levels for perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) and for perfluorohexane sulfonic acid (PFHxS) and a notification level and response level for perfluorohexanoic acid (PFHxA).

This process may result in proposed revised or new notification and response levels for PFOA, PFOS, PFHxS and PFHxA.
