NOTICE: 2024 California Integrated Report partial approval/partial disapproval by USEPA

From the State Water Resources Control Board:

The Clean Water Act section 303(d) list portion of the 2024 California Integrated Report was partially approved by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (“USEPA”) as of December 13, 2024. USEPA approved the majority of the 303(d) list but has identified 53 waterbody-pollutant combinations they may add to the 303(d) list.

The USEPA is soliciting comments on the 53 waterbody-pollutant combinations from December 13 to January 15, 2024. Public Notice: USEPA’s Action to Add 53 Waterbody Impairments to California’s 2024 303(d) List of Impaired Waters  (https://www.epa.gov/publicnotices/californias-2024-303d-list-impaired-waters).
