NOTICE: Public Staff Workshop: Proposed Urban Stormwater Infiltration Policy

From the State Water Resources Control Board:

The State Water Resources Control Board’s stormwater planning unit has started working on a proposed policy for urban stormwater infiltration. Stormwater infiltration projects capture runoff from streets and use it to replenish groundwater supplies. This can improve water quality in rivers and improve water resilience. Infiltration projects can include projects like rain gardens and neighborhood stormwater ponds. More background information on stormwater infiltration and the proposed policy can be found here.
