Delta Stewardship Council adopts 2024 Delta Plan five-year review report
From the Delta Stewardship Council:
As required by the Delta Reform Act, the Delta Stewardship Council has completed its 2024 Delta Plan Five-Year Review, which the Council adopted at its September 26 meeting in Stockton, CA.
The 2024 Review provides “report cards” that rate ten-year progress toward Delta Plan objectives. The report cards are based on preexisting performance measures used to track the health of California’s Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, covering topics like water supply reliability and quality, ecosystem restoration and enhancement, and more. The Review also analyzes how effectively the Council has carried out its regulatory and appellate roles and recommends actions the Council may pursue over the next five years. Combined, this information will inform the Council’s near-term priorities and adaptive management of the Delta Plan.
