MEMO: DWR submits minor change to DWR’s petitions for State Water Project’s change of water right permits

Memo from the Department of Water Resources to the State Water Board:

The California Department of Water Resources (DWR) submits this minor change to DWR’s Petitions for Change of Water Right Permits 16478, 16479, 16481, and 16482 (Applications 5630, 14443, 14445A, and 17512, respectively) submitted on February 22, 20241 (Petition). This change is submitted pursuant to California Water Code section 1700.4 and seeks to modify Term 6 of the referenced water right permits. Term 6 currently reads “Construction work shall be completed on or before December 31, 2000.” As a component of the Petition, DWR seeks to modify Term 6 to read “Construction work shall be completed on or before December 31, 2055.”
