From the State Water Resources Control Board:
The Scott Valley Irrigation District has filed a 180-day temporary water right permit application T033433 with the State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Water Rights, to divert 5,400 acre-feet of water to underground storage for later use as fish and wildlife preservation and enhancement. The water would be diverted from the Scott River stream system in Siskiyou County between January 1, 2025 and March 31, 2025.
