PUBLIC NOTICE for Permit Application, West False River Drought Salinity Barrier project, Contra Costa County, CA

From the Army Corps of Engineers:

The California Department of Water Resources has applied for a permit discharge dredged or fill material and work in approximately 2.75 acres of waters of the United States to construct a revetment barrier across the False River. The approximately 22-acre project site is located on False River, approximately 0.4 mile upstream of the confluence with the San Joaquin River, Latitude 38.057710°, Longitude -121.671560°, Contra Costa County, California, and can be seen on the Jersey Island USGS Topographic Quadrangle.
