ANNOUNCEMENT: DRIP Collaborative seeks to fill membership vacancies

From the Department of Water Resources:

On behalf of the Drought Resilience Interagency and Partners (DRIP) Collaborative, the Department of Water Resources (DWR) is soliciting applications to fill the following membership vacancies:

  • Public Water Systems
  • Agriculture
  • Tribal

The DRIP Collaborative is a standing task force established by DWR in 2023. It was formed under SB 552 to facilitate proactive state planning and coordination for both predrought planning and postdrought emergency response. The task force aims to develop strategies that enhance collaboration between various fields and consider all types of water users.

This is an opportunity to help California plan, respond, and manage future droughts by joining an interagency state and public task force. Members will contribute to the development of strategies that will benefit water users across the state.

Individuals interested in being considered for membership in the DRIP Collaborative should review the informational flyer and complete the interest form by December 12, 2025.

More information about the task force is available at: https://water.ca.gov/drip
