Dear Urban Retail Water Supplier:
The 2018 Legislation (AB 1668 and SB 606) required the Department of Water Resources (DWR) to provide or identify data regarding the unique local conditions to support the calculation of an urban water use objective (CWC 10609. (b)(2) (C)). You are receiving this email because DWR wanted to inform you that datasets urban retail water suppliers can use to calculate some components of their 2025 urban water use objective has been released. The data includes:
- Reference Evapotranspiration (ETo) and Effective Precipitation (Peff)
- Seasonal ETo and Peff for estimating Agricultural Variances
These datasets can be accessed here.
