This notice is to advise interested parties that the State Water Resources Control Board has posted a revised notice of opportunity for public comment and hearing on the revised draft Sacramento/Delta updates to the Water Quality Control Plan for the San Francisco Bay/Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Watershed (Bay-Delta Plan or Plan). In response to requests for additional time for public review, the hearing dates and comment period deadline have been adjusted to provide additional time for review. The Board will receive public comments on the July 2025 revised draft updates both in writing by September 29, 2025, and orally at a hearing now scheduled on September 25 and 26, 2025. Please see the notice for information on how to submit written comments and participate in the hearing.
State Water Board staff also plan to release supplemental modeling results for the water supply adjustments under the regulatory pathway described in the revised draft Plan by August 22, 2025, to assist the public with their review of the revised draft updates to the Bay-Delta Plan.
The revised draft updates to the Bay-Delta Plan are available for review on the Board’s website. Supplemental modeling results are expected to be posted to the Board’s website by August 22, 2025.
