State Water Board: New watershed demand visualizations now live

Dashboard for Butte Creek.

From the State Water Resources Control Board:

The State Water Board’s Supply and Demand Assessment Program has published new interactive surface water demand visualization dashboards for several watersheds across California. These dashboards provide insights into reported surface water demands and are part of our ongoing effort to improve data transparency and support informed water management.

New dashboards are now available for the following watersheds:
Butte Creek
Gualala River
Mattole River
Napa River
Navarro River
Putah Creek
Salmon Creek (Sonoma County)
Tomales-Drakes Bay

These tools are designed to complement our watershed-specific water supply models being developed and to serve as a resource for local water users, managers, and interested parties. They allow users to explore the spatial distribution of diversions within each watershed. The dashboard and its application are shown in a short video.

Visit the visualizations: www.waterboards.ca.gov/sda.

We encourage you to explore the dashboards and share them with others in your network who may be interested.
