From the State Water Resources Control Board:
Please be advised that Aliso Water District filed a 180-day temporary water right permit application (T033400) to appropriate 10,000 acre-feet of surface water from the Chowchilla Bypass in Madera County. The water would be stored underground and later withdrawn for irrigation use within district boundaries.
