From the Delta Science Program:
In September 2023, the Delta Science Program hosted a three-day hybrid meeting for an independent scientific peer review of the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation’s Water Temperature Modeling Platform (WTMP).
The peer review panel has completed its review of the temperature models, model framework, and implementation of the WTMP project. The final report provides important guidance in an effort to improve modeling tools for predicting water temperatures over short time frames for real-time operations, seasonally for developing temperature management plans, and longer time frames for planning studies.
