From the State Water Resources Control Board:
The Kern Water Bank Authority filed a 180-day temporary permit application T033366 with the State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Water Rights to appropriate 300,000 acre-feet of water. The water would be diverted from the Kern River stream system in Kern and Kings counties.
