From the State Water Resources Control Board:
Please be advised that the Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District has filed a petition with the State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Water Rights to make changes to riparian and pre-1914 appropriative claimed water rights. Water is diverted under the claimed rights from the Carmel River stream system in Monterey County.
