No posts today, but it’s not for my lack of trying

Dear Readers,

Happy Fourth of July!

I won’t be posting a Daily Digest as it seems I caught most of it yesterday, and the only thing new of note I can find is a commentary by Newsha Ajami at Water Deeply: How California could reinvent the water sector, and a few others.  Monday is reservoir conditions, of course – but it seems there is some computer glitch over at DWR that basically means I can’t get any reservoir conditions, so …

Sorry folks, no posts today.  But it’s not for my lack of trying!

If you’re looking for something to read today, may I suggest you peruse the Best of the Notebook archive to see if there’s anything you might have missed or that you might like to review, or check out my Delta slideshow over at KCET, Understanding the Delta in 63 photos.

I’ll be back tomorrow with a whole bunch of stuff.  It’s Delta smelt week here on Maven’s Notebook as starting tomorrow, I’ll be posting on the recent symposium: Delta & longfin smelt: Is extinction inevitable?  Plus there’s a great Blog Round-up for tomorrow, and science news already has some interesting items, so there’s a lot to look forward to in the coming week.

So I hope your holiday is a good one, and I’ll see y’all here tomorrow for an overflowing slate of water news!

With warmest regards,

Maven
