From the State Water Resources Control Board:
The Scott Valley Irrigation District has filed a 180-day temporary water right permit application T033339 with the State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Water Rights, to divert 5,400 acre-feet of water to underground storage for later use as fish and wildlife preservation and/or enhancement. The water would be diverted from the Scott River stream system in Siskiyou County.
