Update on the Delta watershed emergency regulation

This email is to provide an update on the emergency curtailment and reporting regulation in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta (Delta) watershed 

The revised and renewed emergency regulation for the Delta watershed has been approved and is now in effect. Documents relating to the emergency regulation are available on the Delta Drought webpage under the ‘Emergency Curtailment and Reporting Regulation’ section. A frequently asked questions (FAQ) document is also available to assist stakeholders with navigating the emergency regulation. The new subdivision concerning the Sacramento River Settlement Contractors and Feather River Contractors, section 876.1, subdivision (d)(8) of title 23 of the California Code of Regulations, is expected to be implemented in the future with the curtailment status updates, starting with the update scheduled for Tuesday, August 16, 2022.
