SEMINAR/WEBINAR: Working Together to Protect Every Drop

The Storm Water Planning Unit is pleased to announce the upcoming presentation of the STORMS Seminar Series: “Working Together to Protect Every Drop” – Presentation by Shelley Cousineau from Sagent Marketing and Ana Serrano from Caltrans on Monday, July 17 at 10 am.

Join us for an engaging conversation with Shelley Cousineau and Ana Serrano on the three year state-wide education campaign, Protect Every Drop. This education campaign includes a cohesive and integrated public relations, advertising and community outreach program across California that encourages positive behavior by the public to improve water quality.

Shelley is a specialist in working with water and stormwater related behavior change programs. At Sagent Marketing, she has led all environmental campaigns for clients since 2010. In her previous position, she led campaigns for the Bay Area Stormwater Management Agencies Association, the Contra Costa Clean Water Program, the Fresno Metropolitan Flood Control District, the San Mateo County Water Pollution Prevention Program, and many others.

Ana Serrano is a Senior Transportation Engineer with Department of Transportation for over 17 years. While working at Caltrans she has gained experience in construction, design, hydraulics, traffic operations, maintenance and stormwater.

The Strategy To Optimize Resource Management of Storm Water (STORMS) Seminar Series is part of an ongoing effort by the State Water Board to share current information with the regulated community and public on storm water management strategies, tools to capture and use storm water runoff, and methods to improve storm water quality and watershed processes. This is the tenth seminar in the STORMS Seminar Series.
