From the Delta Science Program:
The Delta Science Program is pleased to share a draft Delta Research Proposal Solicitation Notice for public review and comment. Approximately $6 million is available for high-quality research projects that promote understanding and management of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta and Suisun Marsh. Proposals must advance one or more of the Science Actions in the 2022-2026 Science Action Agenda and must demonstrate a strong connection with natural resource management and/or Delta community groups.
Comments on the draft Solicitation may be submitted via email to deltaresearch@deltacouncil.ca.gov until 5:00 PM PST on July 21, 2023. Please note that this is a draft, and all content is subject to change at the discretion of the Delta Stewardship Council. A final Solicitation will be released in fall 2023.
