The Stockton East Water District and the California Department of Water Resources filed a 180-day temporary water right permit application (T033357) with the State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Water Rights, to divert 3,200 acre-feet of water to underground storage for later use as municipal and irrigation water. The water would be diverted from the Rock Creek stream system in San Joaquin County.
