SAN JOAQUIN RIVER RESTORATION: Restoration Flows cease, Flood Flows begin

From the San Joaquin River Restoration Program:

Today the Bureau of Reclamation began making flood releases from Friant Dam and flows are expected to are expected to increase to at least 4,500 cfs over the coming days. The Reclamation press release can be found here: Reclamation announces increased flows from Friant Dam into the San Joaquin River (usbr.gov)

As a reminder, Restoration Flows already released prior to Friant moving to flood operations should not be considered abandoned water and should remain in the river. Restoration Flows will begin again when hydrologic conditions permit.
