NEW RESOURCE: Drought Resilient Communities Toolkit

From the Land Resilience Partnership:

The Drought Resilience Communities Toolkit is an online repository to increase drought awareness and catalyze accelerated drought response in home landscape transformation through shared resources and information. The campaign is sponsored by Accelerate Resilience Los Angeles (ARLA) and created by Watershed Progressive and focuses on replacing irrigated landscapes with climate appropriate & native plants, and adding mulch, which can reduce the average Southern California home water use by 60-80%.

NOW is the best time to implement these DIY approaches!

The toolkit currently has free, downloadable design templates for Climate Appropriate Plantings & Mulching for Central and Southern CA coastal communities. Additional design templates will be available online soon and include templates for Rain Gardens, Rainwater Harvesting, & Pollinator Corridors.

The Resilience Toolkit is available in Spanish.
The Land Resilience Partnership has created a Social Media Kit that has downloadable posts, graphics & .GIFs that we hope you will use to share with your social networks. (Tagging @landresiliencepartnership on Instagram will help us connect you and other collaborators!)
