From the Central Valley Regional Water Board: The Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board will hold a public hearing concerning proposed revisions to Waste Discharge Requirements General Order No. R5-2014-030-10 for Growers within the Sacramento River Watershed that are Members of the Third-Party Group. The proposed revisions would exempt agricultural operations located in the Upper Feather River Watershed from Irrigated Lands Regulatory Program requirements. Central Valley Board staff is circulating the attached draft recommendations document and exemption resolution to revise Order R5-2014-0030-10 for this public comment period and public hearing notice. A public hearing concerning the proposed exemption resolution will be held on-line and in-person at the Rancho Cordova office on 23 and 24 February 2023. Any person may submit comments in writing on the proposed revisions. Written comments must be received by 5:00 pm on 12 January 2023 and may be submitted to sue.mcconnell@waterboards.ca.gov.
