From the Department of Water Resources:

The California Department of Water Resources has released the Draft Proposition 68 Floodplain Management, Protection, and Risk Awareness Grant Program Guidelines and Proposal Solicitation and Ranking Process (PSP) for public comment. This statewide program will fund projects that reduce flood risks associated with stormwater flooding, mudslides, and flash floods. The Draft Guidelines and PSP (Appendix B) can be downloaded at: https://water.ca.gov/Work-With-Us/Grants-And-Loans/Flood-Management-Protection-Risk-Awareness-Program.

The release of the draft document opens the 60-day public comment period, which will close on February 22, 2021, at 5:00 pm.  DWR will host a series of virtual public meetings to present the Draft Guidelines and PSP, and to solicit comments. Dates and details will be announced on the program’s webpage when they are available.
