WATER RECYCLING FUNDING PROGRAM – Funding Availability and Grant Limit

From the State Water Resources Control Board:

The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) recently posted the Draft Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) Intended Use Plan (IUP) for State Fiscal Year 2019-20 at: https://www.waterboards.ca.gov/public_notices/comments/index.html.  Parties interested in the Water Recycling Funding Program (WRFP) are encouraged to review Section III.C of the IUP for information regarding the availability of WRFP funds and limitations on water recycling funding.

The Division of Financial Assistance anticipates posting a Notice of Opportunity to Comment on amending the Water Recycling Funding Program (WRFP) Guidelines in June 2019, and stakeholders interested in the WRFP should be on the lookout for information about public workshops in July 2019 to discuss potential changes to the WRFP Guidelines.

If you have questions regarding the WRFP Guidelines, please contact James Garcia at (916) 341-5647 or James.Garcia@waterboards.ca.gov.  For questions regarding the draft CWSRF IUP, please contact Elisabeth Brown at (916) 341-5375 or Elisabeth.Brown@waterboards.ca.gov or Elnaz Nasaei at (916) 319-9283 or Elnaz.Nasaei@waterboards.ca.gov.
