OROVILLE SPILLWAY: Photo gallery and videos of the spillway’s first use

With dry weather in the forecast, the Department of Water Resources stopped releases from the newly-rebuilt Oroville Dam spillway on Wednesday.  Outflows from the spillway started at 8,300 cfs on April 2 and peaked at 25,000 cfs on April 7.  Department experts and federal regulators confirmed that the spillway performed as designed.
