Staff’s draft decision is to deny the appeal
From the Delta Stewardship Council:
The Delta Stewardship Council (Council) staff draft findings regarding the appeal of the Certification of Consistency Number C20188 submitted by the San Joaquin Area Flood Control Agency (SJAFCA) for the Smith Canal Gate Project are now available online.
Parties and all other interested persons are invited to submit written comments, due no later than 12:00 p.m., February 28, 2019. Council staff will consider written comments received on the Draft Determination and prepare a Proposed Determination. Staff will present the Proposed Determination to the Council, interested parties, and the public at a March 21, 2019 public hearing.
