OPC priority issue areas for Proposition 1 funding are:
- Marine managed areas
- Ocean and coastal water quality impacts
- Fisheries and fish habitat
- Climate change adaptation
Proposition 1 projects must provide long-term benefits in at least one of the priority issue areas.

Review the Solicitation Announcement & Application Instructions and the Grant Guidelines carefully before applying.
The deadline for applications is March 18, 2019.
Funding from Prop 1 is intended to fund multi-benefit projects that restore important species and habitat, provide more reliable water supplies, and develop a more resilient and sustainably managed water system that can better withstand inevitable and unforeseen pressures in the coming decades.
