SAN JOAQUIN FLOW OBJECTIVES: State Water Board posts change sheets and responses to comments on Bay Delta Plan amendments for the Lower San Joaquin River and Southern Delta salinity objectives

On July 6, 2018, the State Water Board released proposed Plan Amendments for the Lower San Joaquin River and Southern Delta objectives and a proposed Final Substitute Environmental Document, which provided the environmental and other analyses in support of the proposed Plan Amendments.

At its August 21-22 meeting, the State Water Board will consider adoption of the proposed Plan Amendments and Final Substitute Environmental Document.  As a reminder, final action on whether to adopt the proposed Plan Amendments and Final Substitute Environmental Document will be continued to a future Board meeting.

Below are three documents relating to the proposed Plan Amendments and the Final Substitute Environmental Document:

  • Change Sheet #1 includes changes to the proposed Plan Amendments and Attachment 1 to the Draft Resolution.
  • Change Sheet #2 identifies minor changes, including corrections to typographical errors, that have been made to the proposed Final Substitute Environmental Document since its public release on July 6, 2018.
  • The Comment Summary and Responses includes a description of significant comments that were responsive to the notice issued on July 6, 2018, and the State Water Board’s response to those comments.
