ANNOUNCEMENT: San Francisco Water Board Workshop on regulatory challenges to proposed projects to address climate change resilience

Please be advised that the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, San Francisco Bay Region (Water Board) is reviewing its policies and procedures related to addressing the regulatory challenges posed by baylands multi-benefit wetland restoration projects proposed to address climate change resilience.
We are hosting public workshops to solicit feedback from the Water Board’s stakeholders on the various regulatory strategies available to the Water Board to address wetland restoration and shoreline resilience.
The first of these workshops is regarding Water Board Policy 94-086, on the use of treated wastewater to create, restore and enhance wetlands.
