The Water Boards’ Office of Information Management and Analysis (OIMA) will host a data fair aimed at providing a forum to enhance the availability and integration of the Water Boards’ key datasets. The format will be a combination of thought-provoking presentations and access to dataset stewards. Some of the presentations will highlight projects and concepts to synthesize water resource related data. Others will lay out elements of the Water Boards’ strategy to increase the availability and usefulness of our vast water resource related data and information.

March 21: Reclamation to Hold Public Meeting on the Central Valley Project Cost Allocation Study

The Bureau of Reclamation will hold a meeting to update the public on the current status of the ongoing Cost Allocation Study for the Central Valley Project (CVP). The meeting will focus on the methodology for the single purpose alternative for hydropower and will be held on Monday, March 21st from 10am to 12pm at the Federal Building, 2800 Cottage Way, Sacramento, CA 95825

April 1: Army Corps to hold Regulatory Program Workshop

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, will hold the next Regulatory Program Workshop on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm at the Sacramento District Headquarters in Room 814.

There is no charge for the workshop but space is limited to 75 people, with no more than two people attending per organization.  Register for the workshop by emailing Ms. Eileen Imamura at  with the subject line reading “Regulatory Program Workshop” and your name, organization name, email and telephone number in the body of the message.  Your email should be received by March 25, 2016. Unfortunately, due to space and security issues, those who did not register will be turned away.
