ReclamationReclamation to Host Webinar for Shasta Dam Fish Passage Evaluation: On September 24 from 10am to 12pm, the Bureau of Reclamation, National Marine Fisheries Service and other partnering federal and state agencies will host a webinar on the Shasta Dam Fish Passage Evaluation to provide an update on the status and next steps for pilot studies evaluating reintroduction of winter-run Chinook salmon upstream of Shasta Dam.  Information to be presented during the session will include a status and schedule update for the public release of the evaluation’s Pilot Implementation Plan and its companion Environmental Assessment. NorCal AWRA LogoHow is California's Water Rights System Performing in Response to the Historic Drought?: On October 1st from 5:30 – 7:00pm, the Northern California Chapter of the American Water Resources Association welcomes Caren Trgovcich, Chief Deputy Director of the State Water Resources Control Board, who will be presenting an overview of the State's system of surface water rights and will highlight how the drought has demonstrated its strengths and exposed areas for improvement.  The meeting will be held at the USC School of Public Policy in Sacramento.  Click here to register.
